We have been asked by a few people if the Cinematheque will continue operations throughout the Olympics and the answer is YES! While there will be both parking and lane restrictions, we are still open for business. In fact, we have a fantastic series of Mexican films lined up! Working with VLAFF and the Mexican Consulate, “Viva el Cine Mexicano”, a major retrospective of classic and contemporary cinema will screen from February 10 to 21. So, after taking in some Olympic activities, why not plan to end your day here at the Cinematheque? If you are not sure the best transit route to take here or where to park, please give our office a call and we will help you with your travel plans.

It's quite bad that I read
It's quite bad that I read this post at this stage, but it's better late than never. I'll be visiting some relatives in the area during this period, so I think I can squeeze some time off to see a pic. I've been a film buff since college. World Cinema is my favorite, and I particularly like Latin American movies. So I look forward to this. Thanks for sharing!
