Only two more sleeps until the Cinémathèque’s big bash on Thursday night. Our autographed Twilight book, New Moon, has received a lot of interest with coverage on CBC Radio yesterday morning and a spot of Breakfast Television earlier today. We have also had some new auction items donated including a painting by Bobbie Burgers and a photograph by Nic Lehoux. There are only a few tickets left! Please contact our office at 604.688.8202 to secure yours. SCENE takes place on Thursday, November 19th at 6:30pm at Canvas Lounge, 91 Powell Street. Tickets are $95 and include a tax receipt.

In other news, we have recently purchased a Blu-Ray player for all those high-def digital fans out there. The new player coupled with our digital projector make quite a duo. Together they project a very nice image on the BIG screen. This is a nice addition for our theatre rental clients who have been requesting the Blu-Ray format.

And to our audiences who have been asking for credit card payment options - the Cinematheque has recently brought back the option to purchase advance tickets to all of our screenings.
