Pacific Cinémathèque is closed for the holidays from December 24-26, and again on New Year's Eve, Thursday, December 31, and New Year's Day, January 1, 2010.

The holiday season is a time to look back on the year that has passed and thank you, our valued patrons, for playing a supporting role in the ongoing vitality of Pacific Cinémathèque.

2009 was a year of successes and improvements including new carpeting in our screening room, a freshly painted lobby, an electronic marquee, publishing the first book in our Monograph Series, new website enhancements including a photo and trailers gallery, the launch of an organizational blog, producing both a successful 1st Annual Open House & Membership Drive and our 2nd annual fundraiser, SCENE (which raised over $21,000!), and of course, 12 months of the best in curated film programming — including the Films of Nagisa Oshima, Canada’s Top Ten, Film Noir, The Leading Ladies of Italian Cinema, and the European Union Film Festival.
