Complementing our programming activities, our Education Department helps to increase the understanding of film and media production, criticism and history. Going beyond the talks and discussions accompanying a number of our screenings, we also offer programs and resources for youths, teachers and other community groups. Providing intensive and engaging digital filmmaking programs, thought-provoking media literacy workshops and special screening events, through our Education Department we aim to develop an appreciation and passion for the art of film as well as an understanding of the visual media in the world around us.
