Get Animated! is a Canada-wide series of free screenings and activities to mark World Animation Day (October 28) and celebrate the National Film Board of Canada’s 70th anniversary. Events will be held across the country October 23-31, 2009. As part of the festivities, the NFB and Pacific Cinémathèque will present three evenings of screenings and special presentations, October 26, 27 & 28. Admission is free. All are welcome to attend.

Complete nation-wide Get Animated! schedule information, including further details of our Vancouver presentations, will be available online as of September 1st, 2009, at www.nfb.ca/getanimated. You can also enjoy the NFB’s online film festival programmed exclusively for Get Animated!
