SCENE is the first annual fundraising event for Pacific Cinémathèque, on Thursday, October 23rd at 6:30 pm, at the chic Canvas Gallery (91 Powell Street).  An exciting celebration for the Vancouver film community, the red carpet event will include cocktails, canapés, film projections, lounge music, and a silent auction.  The evening will be hosted by the L Word’s Jacqueline Samuda. Glamourous dress encouraged.

Guests will have the opportunity to bid on exclusive silent auction items such as:

· A Douglas Coupland Piece from his 2007 The Penguins Collection
· A Signed Copy of Concrete Inspection by Crispin Glover
· A Night for you and 190 friends at the movies including popcorn!
· Weekend getaways to Vancouver, Nanaimo and Victoria
· Private dinner for two on a yacht in English Bay
· A weekend with a Mercedes Benz

Canape's catered by Canvas Lounge’s Executive Chef Doby Kovacevicat, previously at Coast, Kettle of Fish and Joe Fortes.
