On Screen: See the Voice – Visible Verse Retrospective 2003-2009
In 2003, the Vancouver Videopoem Festival evolved into Visible Verse, an annual evening at Pacific Cinémathèque devoted to videopoetry and live spoken-word performance. This retrospective program is comprised of videopoems from the 2003 to 2009 Visible Verse events, and features works by Leanne Averbach, Fiona Lam, Heather Hermant, George Bowering, Hari Alluri, Hilary Peach, Kedrick James, Penn Kemp, Amber Dawn, Katrin Bowen, and Janet Rogers.
