Facility Rental
Host Your Event Here │ If you're looking for somewhere to host your own screening for a private party, as a commercial venture, for a cast and crew preview, or for any other reason, at Pacific Cinémathèque we provide a simple all-inclusive rental with top quality service and equipment for a huge range of projection formats and screening requirements.
Your screening can hold up to 194 people in our newly-installed comfortable seating, and can take advantage of our film or high-definition digital projectors.
Our all-inclusive rental fee covers:
• Exclusive use of the box office, lobby and theatre
• Use of all on-site equipment including projectors, screen, microphones, lighting, tables and chairs (equipment may be operated by PCP staff only)
• Professional Staff including a Theatre Manager and Projectionist
• Box Office and Concession Personnel
• Custodial Service
Availability │ Pacific Cinémathèque's theatre is available for rent on Tuesday evenings, and during the day (9:00am - 5:00pm) seven days a week.
Rates │ Rental rates are based on a four hour minimum
Please Note: Pacific Cinémathèque will operate our concession unless otherwise requested by the renter. All concession revenue is retained by Pacific Cinémathèque.
The renting organization is responsible for:
• All catering or liquor service arrangements. A liquor license must be obtained by the renting organization if liquor is to be served.
• All promotional, marketing and publicity arrangments. Print and on-screen advertising is available for purchase. Email ads@cinematheque.bc.ca for more details.
• Liability insurance.
